VOB

VOB standards for "Video Object". It is the file type to store video on a DVD disc. It is actuallly a MPEG-2 video, with special extension to support PCM, AC3, DTS audio, subpictures, and button navigation commands.To decode DVD-VIDEO, you will need both GPL MPEG-2 Decoder, and AC-3 Decoder.

Tutorial

Step 1: Open a video source

You can open a video from the "File Menu", choose Open order to add a video file.
Or you can press Ctrl+O to open a video file.

Step 2: Set start-point and end-point

First, preview the source file with the player, the playing process bar with be like the following image:

Second, move the slider to set the end-point of the first selection with button ,

the slider bar will become like this:

Continue playing the source file untill to the point which you want to set as the end point.

Than set the end point with button , then the slider bar will looks like this:

Now the segment you want is selected.

Step 3: Test selection

Choos the selected segment in the right hand colum, and press this button to test it.

Step 4: Start splitting

Press button to start splitting.

Step 5 : Check out the output file.

The output file is automaticly saved in the source file folder.

If you want to save it in a certain place, please use "save as..." order

in the "File Menu".
